Heard "Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts on the radio and thought of Marnasa (the ship with Marth from Fire Emblem plus Manasa, an original character created by the author) from CallistoHime's wonderful LoZ/FE story Among the Ashes [link] (if you're not already reading, read Time Cannot Erase first)
[link] I don't know all the lyrics to the song, so I went to YouTube to find them (yeah, not always the most accurate....think a few are off here)[link] When I saw all the sand drawings, I was inspired to create my very first non-photo, non-lit submission. I did it in Microsoft Paint, with just my mouse (the text is actually.....text....my hand's not that steady  ) I was so happy with how it turned out (I've never done any visual art before, but when inspiration strikes.......) that I thought I'd share my little bit of fangirl giddiness with all of you  . |

I love that song btw. I heard it on the radio recently and thought of marnasa too! I can imagine Marth singing that to her or something. Marnasa has been on my mind so much lately. XD~~~~

The song is beautiful; I never really paid it much attention until my cousin played it at her wedding a couple of years ago. When I heard it recently, I think it was just the end of the song, and I was like, "That's so them!", so I looked the lyrics up....and *melts into puddle as with all Marnasa-related things*.
